MANAGEMENT PROFILE
LANIYONU ADEKOLA OLAWUYI. (OND, B.Sc., GNIM, M.Sc.)
Mr. LANIYONU, Adekola Olawuyi is a seasoned Geologist and Manager by academic and professional training. He hails from Ibadan in Oyo state. He holds an OND certificate in Geology from The Polytechnic Ibadan and B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology from the Premier University of Ibadan, Nigeria backed with an award for the best graduating student in Petroleum Geology from the University.
Furthermore, he is currently rounding off his M.Sc. program in Mineral exploration (Geochemistry) from the University of Ibadan. He owns a certificate in Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management from Occupational Safety Academy, Lagos and also a Professional Certificate in Management and membership of the Nigerian Institute of Management coupled with a certification from the UNICEF/NYSC as a Peer Education Trainer.
Mr. Laniyonu worked for INEC as Assistant Election Officer (January 2011) during the re-run gubernatorial election in Isoko south, Delta state, Nigeria and as Assistant Registration Officer I, during the voters registration exercise in Okolobiri, Bayelsa state (January – February 2011, Gbarain 08 unit 04)
Mr. Laniyonu had unparalled training with Endeeco Consultancy limited in geophysical data acquisition and interpretation and borehole drilling from November 2002 to February 2003. In February 2004, he joined Crystalgate Limited as a field Geologist and trainee Geophysicist. March 2005, he became endorsed by the company as a Geophysicist of repute and in September of the same year, he was promoted to the post of site Geologist/Geophysicist of the company. During his stay in Crystalgate limited, he carried out hundreds of geophysical surveys and completed hundreds of borehole projects. He also has basic knowledge of seismic survey, seismic data acquisition and interpretation.
In mid-2006, Mr. Laniyonu left the company to further his studies in the University of Ibadan and worked on part time basis with Crystalgate Limited until November 2009 when he joined ACMEGEO as the project Director rising through the ranks to become an Executive Director. He has since carried out many geophysical surveys, geotechnical, geochemical surveys and several borehole drillings for individuals (Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu etc), Governmental (Oyo MDGs, Ogun ORUWA projects)and non-Governmental organizations (Vmobile etc), national and multinational clients even at the local, state and Federal Government levels (12 boreholes in Kogi). A recipient of many meritorious awards within and outside the academics, Mr. LANIYONU, Adekola Olawuyi is a co-founder of ACMEGEO.
AFOLABI BUSAYO SAMUEL (OND, B.Eng)
Mr. AFOLABI, Busayo Samuel is a seasoned geophysicist and an expert in the mining and geotechnical operations. He hails from Efon-Alaaye in Ekiti state. He is an OND Geology graduate from the Polytechnic Ibadan and currently rounding off his programs in Mining Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. His experience and career span over six years which he started as a trainee Geophysicist with Crystalgate Limited, Ibadan in 2005.
He had great exposures in the aspect of geophysical data acquisition and interpretation, construction materials' test and consolidation, mines evaluation and planning, borehole drilling, pump installation, pipe laying etc. He left Crystalgate in 2007 in order to focus more on his academics in FUTA although he was working on a part time basis with Leading Edge Geophysical Company, Benin City, Edo state under the supervision of a seasoned geophysicist, Mr. Yemi Odejobi. In his capacity, he developed, designed and supervised drilling operations for environmental and geotechnical assessment at all drilling sites.
A multi-talented Geologist cum Mining Engineer, Mr. Afolabi manages the company's
day-to-day activities, training and operations; serving our esteemed clients at all levels of human endeavors with great satisfaction. He has also been involved in various seminars, workshops and courses within Nigeria. Mr. Afolabi joined ACMEGEO in November 2009 both as the Chief Geophysicist/Project Director and a co-founder.
LADAPO AKINKUNMI EMMANUEL (OND, B.Sc. M.Sc[view])
Mr. LADAPO, Akinkunmi Emmanuel is a trained professional petroleum Engineer and geotechnical expert. He hails from Ibadan in Oyo state. He is a graduate of Petroleum Engineering from the premier University of Ibadan and also owns an OND in Petroleum Engineering from Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Efunrun, Warri, Delta state. His experience and career span over eight years. He is currently running his masters program in the University of Ibadan.
He is a member of many professional bodies within and outside the academics including the Nigerian society of Engineers and society of petroleum Engineers. He joined T.A.E. Engineering, 9, Oshiro street, Fadeyi, Lagos as a project Engineer in 2007 and he progressed through the ranks to become a sub-soil investigation and piling consultant. He had great exposures in the aspect of piling, consolidation and soil tests and has conducted a lot of work in that aspect.
Mr. Oladapo is the founder and the Executive Director of AKLAD Engineering which is domiciled in Lagos, Nigeria and is fully into the construction, foundation investigation, piling etc. He agreed to bring his expertise in this field to support the growing service and the expansion modeling of ACMEGEO. Our vision together is to remain an indispensable icon in the Geoscience world and maintain our relevance to our great nation in employment generation while giving out unparalled services.
As a trained and professional Engineer, he has attended many seminars, workshops and trainings. He is versed in the use of softwares in pipelining, construction, pay calculation and other interpretative softwares related to his line of duty. In March 2011, Mr. Ladapo joined Marble and Gold limited, 8, Bank Anthony, Maryland Lagos as their project manager. He joined ACMEGEO in 2010 as a field Engineer and he also stands a managing partner with ACMEGEO till date.
OMOTOSHO ABIODUN OLUWAKEMI (B.Ed. M.Ed. Ph.D[view])
OMOTOSHO, Abiodun Oluwakemi is a trained Educationist and an administrator by academic and professional training. She hails from Ondo state. She owns a Bachelors degree in Education (Guidance and counseling) from the University of Ibadan and also a Masters degree in Social works from the same University. She is currently making great efforts in starting her Ph.D. in the education faculty of the same school.
She is a trained Educationists who has had several field exposures in child upbringing, students' mentoring, office and documents administration among many other experiences. She worked with several schools during her first degree training in the University and on graduation has worked with Nickdel College Ibadan as Hostel administrator. In 2009, she joined Mary-anne group of schools, Ologuneru Ibadan as a classroom teacher and due to her versatility, she moved to Chancery Schools where she currently teaches and mentor/mould future leaders.
Miss Omotosho joined ACMEGEO in 2009 as the founding company Secretary and has since then remained the company Secretary till date.
OLAJIDE-KAYODE, Jerry Olugbenga (B.Sc [Geology], M.Sc [Mineral Exploration; in view])
A University of Ibadan trained Geologist and Geochemist, OLAJIDE-KAYODE, Jerry Olugbenga holds a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Geology with an M.Sc Mineral exploration (Geochemistry option) nearing completion. He is a graduate of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), with a proficiency certificate in management. Jerry is also trained in practical First Aid by the Oyo State branch of the Nigerian Red Cross and in 2010, obtained a foundation certificate in Information Technology Infrastructure Library from New Horizons IT consultants.
He has worked as a store manager at Mass Success Cave, University of Ibadan from February 2002 to November 2004, he underwent a 3-month Industrial training at Nigerian Institute of Oceanography and Marine Research (NIOMR), Lagos in 2008. Mr. Olajide-Kayode worked as company geologist for MEDECOOL ltd, Ibadan during his service year (March, 2010 to February, 2011) and is currently the sales and account manager of Jerry-K stores from October 2011 till date.
Although Mr. Olajide-Kayode has been working on a part time basis with ACMEGEO since 2009, he finally agreed to join the company fully in February 2011 as a field Geologist in charge of protocols and necessary logistics in the running of the company.
Through our specific and extensive experience in operational support, ACMEGEO is able to offer a comprehensive service with respect to managing the process of sourcing, selecting, and monitoring of geoscience services, before, during and after well operations. ACMEGEO can provide operational geological services to manage production and development projects from conception to finalisation with the input from specialist associates
A.GEOTECHINCS AND FOUNDATION ENGINEERING DIVISION
1.Engineering Subsoil Investigations
Theses are fundamental importance for the continued stability of engineering structures such as private or industrial building, roads, highways, bridges, jetty and dams etc.
2.Geophysical/Geological and Hydrographic Investigations
Using our geophysical sounding technique and other methods, we undertake investigation to reveal ground water accumulation, delineation of salt/fresh water interface, delineation of strata, and search for mineral resources of an area including well logging. We also carry out above water studies for dredging and other related purpose.
3.Foundation Piling Works
On sites, which have very weak soils to significant depth, piles are the engineering devices, which allow the construction of building, bridges and roads to be made without fear of failure.
4.Construction of Pile Caps
Based on our experience, not all construction companies can correctly position the designed superstructure on piles. It is there a great advantage to client when we are retained after completion of piles to undertake the construction of the necessary pile caps, ground beams or slab in consonance with the structural engineer's design.
5.Vibroflotation Compaction/Soil Stabilization
This is scientific process of foundation soil improvement of serious construction works and covers a fairly wide area of operation for different engineering purposes viz use of ground anchorage and grouting.
6.Groundwater Control and Dewatery Systems
We carry this out in conjunction with environmental division and find application on engineering site that requires groundwater lowering.
7.Dredging
We carry out water clearing, sand stockpiling and sand filling and other related dredging operations with our operational partners.
B.DRILLING AND WATER SERVICES DIVISION
1.Construction of Water Boreholes
We undertake the drilling and completion of water boreholes for interested persons and organization consequent however upon proof that there is a dependable ground water aquifer in a client's site. We have been in the drilling and geophysical survey business for over ten years and our track records are indispensable. We have experts in well design, borehole wall development, flushing and well completion.
2.Re-Activation and Maintenance of Water Boreholes
Apart from the resuscitation of old and abandoned water wells, we also carry out well maintenance which is of fundamental importance in increasing not only the longevity of wells but also in achieving best possible yield and continuous reliability.
3.Water and Wastewater Treatment/Plants
We are interested in the above and carry this out based on the size of a client's need.
4.Laying of Pipes and Irrigation Works
This as part of our water engineering services is aimed at making water easily available to people and to where it is needed either for domestic, industrial or irrigation use. Our plumbing and installation engineers are experts and remain ones to reckon with in the country.
5.Construction of Ground and Overhead Tanks and Reservoir
We also undertake the above usually based on the client's need and demand, using steel or concrete for the construction. We have experts who can also give advisory supports in the construction of reservoirs, whether for oil or water storage.
7.Short Hole Drilling for Site Assessment and Seismic Shooting
In conjunction with our Geotechnics and environmental divisions, we undertake short hole drilling for environmental sampling, seismic works, mineral site estimation, reserve estimation, mine life estimation, monitoring well design and construction for ground water monitoring, pollution studies and remediation works.
C.WATER PRODUCTS DIVISION (Sales and Supply)
Our water products division was initially conceived to engage in the design, manufacture and sales of water related products and equipment. Presently though we are only engaged in the sales and supply of the following water products:
i.Water pumps and compressors of all types and specifications. Notable among these are our submersible, surface and vertical pumps, air compressors and sewage pumps.
ii.Borehole casings of all sizes usually of steel and UPVC make including pumping fittings.
iii. Generators of all sizes and makes.
D.MINERAL EXPLORATION (ETC.)
We are also engaged in all aspect of mineral exploration and exploitation including industrial mineral processing. We have experts with specialization in mineral exploration, geochemistry option from the University of Ibadan with proven track record for mineral exploration, reserve characterization, reserve estimation, mine life estimation and mine development.
